WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- They're the stars of a hit TV show notorious for tough talking and big battles.

But Natalie Guerico and London Rene of VH1's "Mob Wives" faced a scary reality when Rene was slashed and stabbed at a Brooklyn nightclub Sunday.

Guercio and Rene were at Club Output in Williamsburg at about 3:20 a.m. when the suspect, identified by police as Rodolfy "Rudy" Lopez, slashed Rene in the face and stabbed him with a box cutter in the abdomen during a dispute on Wythe Avenue.

"Out of a crowd without me knowing what's going on a man runs out and slices the front of my face," Rene told PIX11 News. "I didn't know he was coming until the damage was already done."

"It happened so fast, then I was on the ground,"Guercio said. "Everyone was on the ground, there was blood and it was like over a minute and a half before anyone came to help."

"There's snitchin' and there's doing the right thing," Rene said of working with the police.

"There's snitchin' and there's doing the right thing," Rene said of working with the police.

"I gave the person that did this to my face over to security. I told them to please hold on to him and that I'm pressing charges and calling the police and they let him go," Rene added.

Police say Rodolfo "Rudy" Lopez asked London Rene with a box cutter outside Club Output.

Guercio tweeted about the attack and posted photos of Rene's injuries on Instagram.

"Were using social media to find this coward and were getting a lot of blow back by putting it out there and I just wanted to make a big statement that there's snitching and there's doing the right thing," Rene said.

"Mob Wives" chronicles the lives of a group of women whose significant others or family members are been arrested or jailed for crimes connected to the Mafia.
