LA PLATA COUNTY, Colo. — A colorado man was arrested Wednesday after police say he imprisoned a woman for two days and beat her with a frying pan.

According to KDVR, 46-year-old Edward Venteroso entered Kristy Harris’ house Tuesday and assaulted her multiple times until police responded to a 911 call.

They found Harris, 55, bloody and begging for help Wednesday morning, police said.

Police say the woman had been struck with a cast iron frying pan and suffered other blunt force trauma.

Harris was admitted to Mercy Hospital with head and ear injuries.

Venteroso had reportedly been living on Harris’ property, but was restrained from contacting her from a previous assault.

Venteroso was arrested on a charge of first-degree assault, violation of a protection order, false imprisonment and obstructing of telephone service.
