WATCH: Homeless man given $100 and secretly followed to see how he would spend it

LOS ANGELES — Have you ever given a homeless person money and wondered how they would spend it?

A man named Josh Paler Lin decided to find out — and it was all caught on video.

Josh picked a random man, who said his name was Thomas, and handed him $100.

He then followed him with a camera — and what happened what pretty amazing.

But you’ll have to watch to find out.

The video was uploaded Monday. As of Tuesday morning it had 2.1 million views on YouTube.

The description of the video includes a link to an Indiegogo page titled, ‘Help Thomas To Get A Fresh Start,’ that encourages donations to help out Thomas.

The $10,000 goal had already been met by Tuesday morning. A total of $21,159 has been raised as of Tuesday afternoon.
