(PIX11)-- Brooklyn gunman Ismaaiyl Brinsley was a drifter, who was unsuccessful in mostly everything he tried.

He came to NYC to as he says “to put wings on pigs”, but not before shooting his ex-girlfriend in the stomach.

What pushed Brinsley to kill the officers before turning the gun on himself? Were there any signs of his mental instability beforehand?
