GRAVESEND, Brooklyn (PIX11) — PIX 11 News has exclusively obtained a photo of slain NYPD Officer, Wenjian Liu, and his young wife, Pei Xia Chen, with his parents during a visit to China.

The couple married in September 2014.

The couple, along with Liu’s parents, lived together in a family home in Gravesend, Brooklyn.

Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani said he was moved to visit the Lius Tuesday when he learned Officer Liu joined the NYPD in 2007 — because of the 9/11 terror attacks.

“He took care of his mom and dad every day,” Giuliani said. “He cooked for them every day. He took care of his wife, drove her to work, when he could, he would drive her back from work.”

Congresswoman Grace Meng is working with Governor Cuomo’s office and Congressman Nadler, hoping to get visas for Chinese relatives to fly to New York for the funeral.
