Final shipping dates near in the days before Christmas

(PIX11) — Time is running out to get those gifts to your friends and family, and the Monday before Christmas is one of the busiest days for shopping — and shipping.

But procrastination doesn't have to mean desperation. Here are some tips to help you survive last-minute shopping and shipping and deliver joy in time for the holidays.

The U.S. Postal Service, FedEx and UPS will still get your gift there in time for Christmas Eve, if you use express or overnight shipping, but the deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 23.

Amazon is offering same-day delivery on Christmas Eve if orders are placed by 10 a.m.

When it comes to free shipping, time is running out. At macys.com, there is free shipping on orders over $99, if you order by 5 p.m. today.

At williams-sonoma.com, shipping is free if you order by noon today.

At bloomingdales.com, there is free standard shipping if you order by 5 p.m. today

At target.com, there is free two-day day shipping if you order by 2:30 p.m. today

Retailers know you only have a few short days and many have extended shopping hours, expedited shipping and exclusive promotions.

Wal-Mart is open 24 hours a day up until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and it is offering shipping options up until Dec. 23.

Toys "R" Us stores are open around the clock from the morning of Dec. 23 through 9 p.m. Christmas Eve, with the Times Sqaure location open 24 hours.

Best Buy allows shoppers to find an item online and pick it up at a store.
