BROOKLYN (PIX11) – Justin Timberlake was caught off guard Sunday night when a fan’s thoughtful gift made him tear up in front of a sold-out crowd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

In the middle of his performance, the pop star stopped to acknowledge a 10-year-old fan sitting in the front row who was decked out in a white suit and bow tie.

The young boy used the opportunity to hand Timberlake a gift which he opened in front of the massive crowd.

“For me?” Timberlake asks the young fan. “How old are you man?”

“You’re 10, and you’ve been watching me since you were two?” he said, prompting an applause.

The gift turned out to be a bowtie which led JT to pause and tear up. The pint-sized fan also got emotional as he’s seen on a jumbo screen on the stage.

“I might have to wear this on Christmas Day,” the pop star said, as he fought back tears.

“I love you kiddo,” Timberlake continues. “S**t, that got me.”

Timberlake is in the final leg of his 20/20 Experience World Tour which he kicked off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn late last year. He’s scheduled to wrap the tour in Las Vegas on Jan. 2.
