Fire at Brooklyn home kills 66-year-old man

BROOKLYN (PIX11) -- Flames ripped through a Brooklyn home early Monday, killing a 66-year-old man, police said.

The victim was identified as Shewming Seto, who lives at the home where the fire broke out.

It happened shortly before 4 a.m. at 1836 East 29 St. When firefighters arrived, they extinguished the flames and found Seto unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
