Service restored to multiple subway lines after manhole fire causes signal issues

NEW YORK (PIX11/AP) — MTA says service restored with residual delays on subway lines affected by a West Fourth Street station manhole fire.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says the fire south of West Fourth Street on Thursday evening caused damage to signal power cables.

That affected service on the A, C, and E lines, as well as the B, D, F, M and R lines.
