Woman survives fall onto subway tracks in Harlem

HARLEM (PIX11) — A woman survived a horrifying fall onto the subway tracks in Harlem Wednesday.

Police sources told the Daily News the woman huddled in the trough between the rails as the train rolled over her.

It was reported that the woman was standing on the platform of a southbound 1 train at the 137th St.-City College stop in Harlem around 8:21 p.m., when she tumbled onto the tracks.

The woman appeared uninjured, but was taken to St. Luke’s hospital for evaluation.
