Clarkstown police warn of man in possible child luring

CLARKSTOWN (PIX11) — A 14-year-old boy claims to have been approached by a suspicious man in Clarkstown.

The boy was attempted to go inside his Village Green home after he was dropped off by school bus Wednesday around 2:50 p.m. The unknown man approached the boy and began asking him questions.

The boy told him he had to go home and proceeded to enter the residence safely. He watched the man leave in a late model van, believed to be a red Ford with a New Jersey license plate.

Police are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity related to the incident. The man is described as black with a medium build and bloodshot eyes. He is between 5-foot-9-inches and 5-foot-11-inches.
