BROOKLYN (PIX11)-- The Royal Visit. Not only a time to deepen our relationship with Great Britain and share our cultures, but an opportunity for Kate watchers to get their full of fashion.

Much like Williams' mother Princess Diana, Kate Middleton has become a fashion icon. And as she is known for choosing 'accessible' pieces, people will be closely watching, hoping to nab a royal frock of their own, if they can get to it quickly enough!

When Kate stepped out for the royal announcement that she was engaged to Prince William, she wore a sapphire blue dress from Issa. It matched the color of her sapphire ring, as well as Princess Diana's famed stunner.

During an Australian trip, Kate donned a $245 number from LK Bennett. The British designer, also a favorite of the Duchess for her shoes, say her dress become the favorite dress to date that Kate has worn.

The Duchess of Cambridge also made Zara's day when she chose an above-the-knee lace overlay dress that retails for under $100. It sold out by lunchtime the next day.

Every woman looks smashing in a wrap dress, and Kate is no exception. While this MaxMara frock is pricier in the $600 range, it was a repeat performance for the the dress.

When The Duchess previously met FLOTUS, Michelle Obama, she chose tan Reiss. And promptly crashed the dressmaker's site as women clambered to get their hands on it!
