State Police Sergeant Gregory Williams says two tractor trailers and an Audi were involved in the crash. One of the tractor trailers caught on fire, sending a plume of smoke that was visible for miles.

Police didn't identify the person who died and didn't say whether they were in the car or one of the trucks.

The accident occurred at a little before 1 p.m., and the roadway was still closed as of 3 p.m. Williams says the fire has been put out.
