NEW YORK (AP/PIX11) — Firefighters say a Staten Island building's concrete roof has partially collapsed, leaving one person dead.
It happened around 8:15 a.m. Friday at a building on a service road off the Shore Expressway.
Three workers were evacuated without injury, while a fourth worker was trapped.
The Fire Department says the injured person was removed from the debris and taken to a Richmond University Medical Center in critical condition for traumatic cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
The address the Fire Department has for the building is a car dealership.
