LEFRAK CITY, Queens (PIX11) -- A Queens community is stepping up its push to solve the brutal murder of a pregnant woman.

Brandee Anastasia Massey, 27, was gunned down in front of her Lefrak City apartment on Wednesday.

She was six months pregnant at the time. Her baby was delivered alive, but later died at the hospital.

A reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case has been tripled from $2,000 to $6,000.

A fund has also been set up to help pay for Massey's four other children to go to school.
