VIDEO: NYPD seeks man who set Manhattan deli on fire

MANHATTAN (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man who set a Manhattan deli on fire Monday.

The unidentified suspect approached the service window of Saied Deli on 108 East 125th Street Nov. 17 at 2:05 a.m. He poured flammable liquid inside and on the exterior of the establishment, surveillance video shows.

The suspect then lit the liquid on fire and fled eastbound on East 125th Street toward Lexington Avenue.

He is described as a black male, 23 to 35 years old, 6-foot-2-inches with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, black sneakers and a black and white Brooklyn Nets knit hat.

Employees in the deli were able to extinguish the fire. Nobody was injured.
