Wind fuels 2 large fires in Cliffside, NJ

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. (PIX11) -- Fire fueled two 3-alarm alarm fires in Cliffside, New Jersey Tuesday evening.

Fire tore through top floor of an occupied apartment building on Palisades Avenue, according to officials.

It is believed that the fire was caused by a previous fire at a building that is under construction on Cliff Avenue.

Residents of the area reported hearing an explosion before the fire.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fires are under investigation.
