Dead body found in burning car in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (PIX11)  Firefighters putting out a car fire early Sunday found a dead body in the back seat, police said.

The car was found on fire on Webster Avenue shortly before 6 a.m., New Rochelle police said. A man’s body was found after the fire was extinguished.

Police declined to release additional details and are continuing to investigate.
