HEMPSTEAD, Long Island (PIX11) -- Yet another brawl on public transportation was caught on video, the latest on Long Island, where police say two women were arrested for attacking a bus driver.

Police said it happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities said a Nassau Inter-County Express bus driver was assaulted by two females who were placed under arrest at the scene. Both women, police said, were charged with misdemeanor assault.

Police say it was allegedly over a fare dispute.

A spokesperson for the Nassau County District Attorney's Office said both women pleaded not guilty at their arraignment.

A few hours later, according to Hempstead police, the same bus, was shot at in the vicinity of Greenwich Street around 7:50 p.m.

There was a different driver on the bus. There were no injuries and no arrests. Police do not believe the two incidents are connected.

A spokesperson for NICE, said NICE is cooperating with ongoing police investigations.
