Police release video of suspect in Bronx subway stabbing

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD has released surveillance video of the suspect in a stabbing that took place at a Bronx subway station in October in the hopes of identifying the assailant.

The stabbing took place on Oct. 23 after the victim, an 18-year-old man, got into a dispute with the suspect on the southbound platform of the Elder Avenue No. 6 train. The dispute escalated and the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest several times before fleeing.

Police said the suspect is a approximately 20-year-old Hispanic male who's 5-foot-7 and weighs 120 to 140 pounds. At the time of the stabbing, he was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, dark-colored jeans and red and black sneakers.
