GREENWICH, Conn. (PIX11) — A 21-year-old man is in the hospital after he was found on top of a Metro North train Sunday morning, WTIC reported.

Passengers reported a power outage on the 5 a.m. train from Stamford to Grand Central, MTA officials said. Train crew members found Brian McClellen on fire and quickly extinguished him after pulling into the Riverside station.

The Ohio native was transported to Westchester Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

The overhead power lines were shut down as a precaution. Service was not impacted, and passengers were able to catch another train into Grand Central.

The train was brought back to the Stamford station for further investigation.

It is unclear why McClellen was on top of the train and on fire, and it is unclear if he will face any charges.
