WEST CALN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police say a man and his girlfriend are charged with brutally murdering the woman’s 3-year-old son.

Gary Fellenbaum and Jillian Tait were arrested Thursday morning.

On Tuesday, authorities were called to their residence on a report of an unresponsive child. EMTs found 3-year-old Scott McMillan suffering from bruises, lacerations and puncture wounds all over his body, according to WPVI.

Fellenbaum, Tait and another witness confessed that the boy had been beaten with blunt and sharp objects, whipped, taped to a chair with electrical tape and hung up by his feet and beaten, leading to his death.

According to police, they beat the boy to death using homemade weapons like a whip, a curtain rod and an aluminum strip.

Tait told police the beating began when the boy wouldn’t eat his breakfast.

“Little Scotty McMillan is dead,” Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said. “Over a three day period … he was systematically tortured and beaten to death. He was punched in the face and in the stomach. He was scourged with a homemade whip. He was lashed with a metal rod. He was tied to a chair and beaten. He was tied upside down by his feet and beaten. His head was smashed through a wall.”

Tait said Fellenbaum routinely beat her 6 and 3-year-old boys. On one occasion, she said he strung the boys up by their feet and beat them while she and Fellenbaum laughed.

The 6-year-old boy is now in the care of relatives.

Fellenbaum and Tait are both charged with murder and Hogan said he will be seeking the death penalty.

Law enforcement veterans told WPVI that they had never seen a child abuse murder case like this one.

What the hell is wrong with the world nowadays. It seems as though humanity is slowly decomposing. This makes me sick. Rapes, murders, decapitations, school shootings. The world is in need of a cleansing.

Who cares about three-year-old Scotty who was viciously beaten to death by his parents? Certainly not the American public who offers kids like him absolutely nothing in the way of preventative protections that might have helped make sure he wasn’t being abused by his parents. He was on his own after birth and the first time any of us would show any interest in him whatsoever was at best when he entered school though usually not then either. The fact is we view children as the property of their parents and we are more worried about protecting parental rights than ever stopping to consider that all children are entitled to rights as unique individual members of our society and not merely as extensions of their parents or family.

What WE THE PEOPLE do offer ourselves in this so-called advanced society is a wealth of public retribution where we can quell any sense of regret or responsibility we might feel with some misguided notion that strict punishments handed out in the name of justice will set everything right. But try and tell that to all the Scotty’s of this world who die every day at the hands of inhuman savage monsters who would dare to call themselves parents.

Scotty’s death won’t change anything anymore than all the other kids who also died today but didn’t make the news. We just don’t have time to worry about such things since we are too busy wallowing in the self-fulfilling cesspools of blood revenge for the kids that do make the news. While the horrors of how 3-year old Scotty met his death certainly warrant our concern, it pales when compared to what’s wrong with us that enables us to willingly turn our heads and close our eyes to all the other Scottys, Johns and Jenifers suffering abuse right now as you read this. That’s what should really concern us and shock us into realizing something needs to be done to help these children before they become tomorrow’s news. But that won’t happen because it is not who we are or what we do. And to think we have the gull to delude ourselves into believing we are members of an advanced and civilized society.

This is the worst case of child abuse that I have read about. I would love to tie up that couple and torture them and I’d make sure it was 10 times worse then what they did to that precious child. We need tougher punishments for child abuse or this will never end. I’m glad they are seeking the death penalty for these two worthless creatures I can’t even call them humans. The only good thing is that they will die either by the state or if they end up in prison they will be killed by fellow inmates and I say whoever gets the pleasure of killing these two non-human worthless pieces of garbage should get whatever their little hearts desire. And if they think death will be their safe haven they are in for a big surprise. God frowns deeply on people who hurt his precious children so these two will suffer great pain and thank God it will last for eternity…

They both should get the death penalty for this evil act, no questions asked! These crimes against children will never stop as long as adults are present in the world. There is a lot of evil done to children because they are GOD’s innocent favorites. People are sick in their minds and have a rage inside of them that has only been delivered by the devil. I don’t consider them people or human but demons straight out of the pits of hell. There will be a time when all evil and all who practices evil ways will be cast back into hell where they will join their father the BEAST for eternity.
