GREENWICH VILLAGE (PIX11) -- It's the treasured tradition here in New York City that brings out close to a million people each year.
The Village Halloween Parade will be celebrating it's 41st year as it makes it's way up 6th Avenue on what's expected to be a chilly night in the Big Apple.
From the costumes to the floats, dull moments need not apply.
A-lister and Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg will serve as the Grand Marshall.
Another highlight will include a troop of dancing zombies that will break out in dance to Michael Jackson's timeless classic "Thriller."
PIX11 got a behind the scenes look of the group and all the "thrilling" action leading up to the big day.
