VAN NUYS, CALIF. (PIX11) — Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI early Sunday morning, an incident report revealed.

The 28-year-old was allegedly driving a Mercedes when she was stopped in the middle of the intersection at Van Nuys Boulevard, TMZ reported.

“She ran a red light and stopped in the middle of T-shaped intersection. Our officer observed her, and she appeared under the influence. She was unable to complete field sobriety tests, at which point she was taken to our station,” CHP spokesman Leland Tang told the Daily News.

Police determined Bynes was driving under the influence of a “controlled substance” — possibly weed — a source told TMZ. Bynes was charged with a misdemeanor and held at Van Nuys station, where she posted $15,000 bail.

The star previously spent almost six months in rehab after being placed on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold in July 2013, E! News reported.

The website reported in March that the “once-troubled” starlet was doing well after rehab and in her classes at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Diego.

“Her parents and family are so proud of her,” the Bynes’ family attorney Tamar Arminak told E! News in March. “She is an amazing girl.”

Bynes was released the same day of her arrest. She is scheduled for court Oct. 23.
