Jennifer Lopez, Leah Remini involved in crash with alleged drunken driver

MALIBU, Calif. (PIX11) — Jennifer Lopez is thankful to be alive after she was involved in a crash with an alleged drunken driver.

The singer posted a photo with friend Leah Remini on Saturday after the accident along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

“Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!!” Lopez wrote in the caption. “Thank god everyone is okay!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #Dontdrinkanddrive!!!! #ursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird.”

According to TMZ, the two were stopped at a light when the driver rear-ended the car and took off.

Police arrested the driver not far from the scene and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence, and hit and run.

Remini and Lopez were not injured in the crash.
