It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Sept. 17 on the southwest corner of Nostrand Avenue and Kings Highway. Police released surveillance video and a photo of the SUV Wednesday with a call for help from the public.
The pair was standing at bus stop when the driver of a blue Infiniti SUV with unknown plates ran a red light and slammed into them, police said. The driver kept driving, leaving the victims on the sidewalk.
