THE BRONX (PIX11) -- Cops are looking for a man who they say pushed a woman between two parked cars and tried to rape her early Saturday morning.

The 42-year-old woman was walking near East 197 Street and Claflin Avenue in Kingsbridge at about 5:20 a.m. when the suspect ran up and grabbed her from behind, authorities say.

The man then pushed the woman between two parked cars, and demanded that she follow him to another location. The victim began screaming as a person walked by, and the would-be rapist ran off.

The woman was uninjured.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'6"-5'7" with a thin build with a mustache.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
