WATCH IT: Bronx gunman opens fire on victim in broad daylight

TREMONT, The Bronx (PIX11) - A wild, midday shooting was caught on camera in the Bronx Monday, and police are asking the public for help in identifying the gunman.

Surveillance video shows a dark-colored SUV rolling up to two people walking near the intersection of East 174th Street Eastburn Avenue just after 4 p.m.

Three people jump out of the vehicle -- two of them attack the pedestrians before the third opens fire, hitting one of the victims in the leg.

The wounded man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the anonymous tip line Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
