KANSAS CITY, Mo. (PIX11) — A woman who had problems with her mail carrier decided to show people why with a video recording.

Susan Howard Perry spent years filing complaints about certified mail not being delivered, destroyed letters and dropped packages. When there was no resolution, Perry decided to record her mail carrier delivering an expensive book she was expecting, FOX4KC reported.

Filming from her window, Perry narrated the mail carrier’s every move as he pulled up to the front of her house. Footage shows the carrier throwing the package near the curb of her home. The mail carrier also stayed in his postal truck during the entire delivery.

Perry posted the video on Facebook and received more support than she expected. A new manager of the post office, whose boss saw the video, visited her home and personally apologized.

“We have reached out to the customer to apologize and want to assure the public that we take such incidents seriously and are taking all appropriate steps to address it and ensure it does not happen again,” Stacy St. John of the U.S. Postal Service said in a statement regarding the video.

It is unclear what happened to the employee, but Perry is happy the situation has been addressed.

“That’s all I want. I want my mail,” Perry told FOX4KC.
