Caught on camera: Man knocked out, mugged at Bronx bus stop

THE BRONX (PIX11) -- A pair of violent thieves are still at large after they knocked a 56-year-old man to the ground at a Bronx bus stop then mugged him, NYPD said.

It happened about 5 a.m. Wednesday near the bus stop in front of 870 Prospect Ave., police said.

A man was were caught on surveillance cameras knocking out the victim then snatching a gold chain from his neck, a cellphone and $50 in cash from his pockets. A second man runs up to the crime as it happens, examines the victim then walks away with the first assailant.

The 56-year-old was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
