Connolly’s Pub seriously damaged by kitchen fire

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) -- Firefighters are investigating what caused a kitchen fire in a popular Midtown pub.

The fire broke out at 121 W. 45th Street at Connolly's Pub around 5:10 p.m., Saturday.

More than 100 firefighters battled the 2-alarm fire.

It started in the kitchen area and quickly spread through the ducts of the 3-story building.

No injuries have been reported.

Officials say the building has severe water damage.

It's unknown when Connolly's will be able to reopen.
