Man hospitalized after shooting in Queens

MALBA, Queens (PIX11)-- Police are investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized in Queens, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on Drive North and 5th Avenue around 2:08 a.m. in Malba.

They say the victim is 39-year-old male and was shot at least three times. He was transported to a local hospital.

A police source says the shooter is heavily tattooed on his face, neck and arms and fled in a white auto.

Malba is an upper-middle-class and wealthy neighborhood in northern Queens.
