FLUSHING MEADOWS CORONA PARK (PIX11) -- The super stars of tennis have converged on Queens for 2 weeks of US Open madness.

Official tournament play kicked off Monday at the Billie Jean King National tennis center.

In what's considered a wide open tournament on both the men's and women's side, this year's US Open is looking like anyone's game.

With 'Big 4' defending champ Rafael Nadal sitting the sidelines with a wrist injury, the door is open and 2 favorites have emerged.

Although Serena Williams remains a favorite, some say the women's singles could see a Serbian upset.

And while most eyes will be on the courts, appetites will be hitting the US Open food court at the Billie Jean King national tennis center.

From the very first grilled cheese truck at the Open to celebrity chefs serving up tasty creations, the options are endless.
