2 arrested in connection with 2013 Bronx murder

WAKEFIELD, The Bronx (PIX11) — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the homicide of a 25-year-old man in the Bronx.

Police responded to a 911 call at 4206 Paulding Ave. in Wakefield around 12:36 a.m. on August 10, 2013 and found Clayton Wright, who resided at the address, unresponsive with trauma to his head. EMS pronounced Wright dead at the scene.

Jermaine White, 26, of 284 South Columbus Ave. in Mount Vernon and Pearce Cuthbert, 31, of 1002 E 225 St. in the Bronx  were arrested and charged with second-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. Cuthbert was also charged with criminal use of a firearm.

The investigation is ongoing.
