THE BRONX (PIX11) -- Police are looking for a thief who robbed three women, including a woman pushing her child in a stroller and a witness who saw him attack the mother.

All the incidents happened near Brown Place and East 136 Street the morning of Aug. 15, police said Tuesday, releasing surveillance footage of the wanted man.

First, the thief approached a 26-year-old woman about 5:20 a.m., grabbed her from behind and placed a black object to her side while demanding her property.

He ran away after the woman handed over her cellphone, which contained her ATM card.

Just two hours later, at about 7:30 a.m., the thief snuck up behind a 28-year-old woman pushing her baby in a stroller and grabbed her.

He took her by the waist and placed a black object to her side while demanding her watch. As she gave him her watch, he spotted her purse under the stroller and tried to take that, too.

However, the victim resisted and screamed for help, prompting the thief to run away when he saw a passerby.

Minutes later, he attacked that passerby, snatching the witness' cellphone from her hand.

Anyone with information in these cases is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
