Construction worker injured in Second Avenue Subway tunnel accident

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A worker has been injured in construction accident inside the Second Avenue Subway tunnel Wednesday afternoon.

The worker suffered a leg injury after a pipe fell on him in the tunnel at 83rd Street and Second Avenue.

The FDNY used a crane to extract the worker.

He is being treated at New York Presbyterian for a leg injury.
