BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a man of a designer belt at a Brooklyn subway station.

According to police, the suspect and the victim met on Thursday around 12: 45 in the mezzanine area of the Livonia Avenue subway station.

The victim had arranged in advance to meet the suspect to sell him a Louis Vuitton belt.

When the two met, the suspect displayed a pellet gun and demanded the belt.

He then fired a shot at the victim, striking his book bag and fled the scene.

The victim was not injured.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
