KIPS BAY, Manhattan (PIX11) -- With four men allegedly involved in two livery cab killings now off the street livery cab drivers are breathing a little easier tonight.

But many drivers stop here in the East Side to fuel up and drive to the outer boroughs say its a constant fear that something like this could happen to them.

Police have caught the final suspect thanks to video surveillance showing the alleged carjackers, after they dumped the body of cabbie Aboubacar Bah in the street.

Days later another driver, 49-year-old Maoudo Kane, was found shot once in the head at 3412 Hunter Ave in the Eastchester section of the Bronx.

Police said Saturday that a fourth suspect, Tommy Smalls, had been arrested in Manhattan.

That followed a day after federal investigators announced that they had arrested Jakiem Ewing, Tyron Felder and Kareem Martin in connection with the killings.

Fernando Mateo, a spokesperson for the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers says its alarming trend that needs to be stopped.

Mateo says he met with the police commissioner asking for the controversial stop and frisk program to be implemented again.

Authorities are also investigating whether these four men were also involved with several armed robberies in Yonkers.

Three of the men were charged with carjacking in federal court. Smalls is currently being arraigned in Federal Court in White Plains.
