BUSHWICK (PIX11)– A man who sucker-punched a 34-year-old woman on a Brooklyn sidewalk was arrested Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Willie Stephens, 33, of Brooklyn is being charged with felony assault after what appears to be another “Knockout Game”- related incident.

The punching occurred on 795 Monroe Street around 3:45 p.m. Thursday when Stephens ran up to the unsuspecting victim and hit her in the eye, police say.

He then fled before being found by two officers working a summer youth camp in the area on Howard Avenue and Jefferson Street.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with a head injury and later released.

  • Fed Up

worthless punks doing this to innocent people deserve severe punishment with mandatory 10 years in jail, no early parole, no pity by the courts, just hard time in the worst prison available

  • WTF?!?

White man hurts/kills a black man its a hate crime, black man punches and knock out white women its a knock out game…

Come on… everybody knows it’s only a “hate crime” if a white person does to it another race or to a Jewish person. No way will Eric Holder stick his nose in this case. She appears to be Indian and that is irrelevant because this WAS and should BE a “Hate Crime”. I can’t believe any man would walk up and sucker punch anybody… let alone a pregnant women. Unbelievable. I hope he gets a little jailhouse justice.
