NEW YORK (PIX11)-- Celebrities such as Tyson Beckford, Gilles Marini and Chris Salgardo participated in #liferide5,  an annual cross country motorcycle rally raising awareness and funds for a foundation for AIDS research.

Kiehl`s life ride for amfAR is celebrating his 5th year of riding  motorcycles through the U.S., meeting and celebrating with customers, and most importantly, gathering donations for amfAR, a foundation designated to contribute toward AIDS research.

At the conclusion of this year`s ride, Kiehl`s will have raised $1,025,000 for amfAR, funding six cure-related research projects.

From Aug. 2 through Aug. 12, 2014, the ride went from Wisconsin ending in New York.

Kiehl`s is sponsoring a monumental, open-to-the-public dedication of the aids memorial quilt, Aug. 11-Aug. 12 on Governor`s Island.

This program marks the first time in nearly two decades that the New York City has hosted to the AIDS memorial quilt with a display of this magnitude.
