(PIX11) — A Brazilian woman searching for her birth mother and clues about her identity made a bombshell discovery that she’s actually married to her brother.

Adriana, 39, and her husband Leandro, 37, were both abandoned as babies, the Daily Mail reports.

The couple met seven years ago and have a six-year-old daughter.

The two have been on a lifelong search for their respective mothers, both named Maria.

Adriana told Radio Globo that the couple thought it was funny that their mothers had the same name.

They believed it was only a coincidence because of how common the name Maria is.

Unable to find her mother on her own, Adriana turned to the popular Radio Globo show to help her.

The show, “The Time is Now” brings long lost relatives together.

This week, Adriana and her mother were reunited live on air.

It was then that Maria revealed that she also had a son named Leandro.

As Adriana begins to put the pieces together, she breaks down in tears.

“I don’t believe that you’re telling me this,” Adriana says to her mother. “Leandro is my husband.”

While Leandro and Adriana were never legally married, they plan on staying together despite the discovery that they’re siblings.

“Only death is going to separate us,” Adriana said after the interview. “Of course it would have been different if we had known this all before, but we didn’t and we fell in love.”

According to the Daily Mail, the three have been in communication since the interview and plan to meet up soon.
