HAWAII (PIX11)– Life’s a wave for this Hawaiian pig.

The day Kamapua’a fell into the pool and started swimming was the day its owner, Kai Holt, realized his pig’s love for the water.

Holt says in a GoPro Youtube video that Kamapua’a, also known as Kama, followed him into the water one day and jumped onto his surfboard. Since then, surfing has become a regular activity for the pair.

“Everybody was tripping,” Holt says in the video. “He knows what he’s doing.”

Kama, who gets bored from waves less than two feet tall, is best known as “Kama The Surfing Pig” on social media.

His Facebook page is liked by more than 1,500 people, while his Instagram account boasts more than 8,000 followers.
