SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (AP) — A 45-year-old man who is a registered nurse faces prison time for placing a surveillance camera in an employee bathroom at Schenectady’s Ellis Hospital.

Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney says Paul Bourdeau pleaded guilty to unlawful surveillance, a felony, last week. Under a plea deal, he faces a sentence of one to three years in state prison.

A hospital staff member discovered the video camera under a sink in November. The motion-sensing camera had been positioned to face the toilet.
