(PIX11) — Two men were caught on camera luring a squirrel to its certain death in a cruel prank at the Grand Canyon.

A YouTube video show the men wearing only boxer shorts and cowboy hats teasing the squirrel.

One of the men lays out crumbs, slowly bringing the squirrel to the edge.

As the squirrel reaches the end of the trail, the man puts on a sneaker and kicks the animal to its death.

The user who uploaded the video said he was only a witness and did not have a part in the evil prank.

“I did not realise what was happening until it was too late,” tourist Jonathan Hildebrand said. “I do not know who they are. All I know is that they were French.”
