Young siblings missing in the Bronx

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A 9-year-old girl and her 8-year-old brother disappeared from their Bronx home this week and police are asking for the public’s help to bring them home safely.

Kayleen Buchanan and Dameion Turner were last seen about 4 p.m. Wednesday in front of their home in the 700 block of East 229th Street, police said Thursday.

Kayleen Buchanan is described as 4 feet 3 inches tall, about 90 pounds with a dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a lime green shirt, pink shorts and pink, blue and white Nike Air Max sneakers.

Dameion Turner is 3 feet 6 inches tall, about 80 pounds with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, a white tank top and blue flip-flop sandals.

Anyone who sees the children is urged to call NYPD’s anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
