JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) — A woman was busted at Kennedy Airport after she was caught allegedly smuggling almost 2 pounds of cocaine in her underwear and the handle of her luggage.

The suspect, Taneshia Walker, 24, of Queens, was arrested by Customs and Border Protection agents on July 13 at the airport after flying in from Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The estimated street value of the cocaine was $30,000.

Agency officers found the drugs after noticing that something was wrong with Walker’s luggage and taking a closer look, uncovering 1.2 pounds of coke.

Officer also found “an oval shaped object wrapped in latex” in Walker’s underwear — that turned out to be a half-pound of cocaine.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office of the U.S. Eastern District Court of New York will prosecute Walker. She faces federal narcotics smuggling charges.
