NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities say a man was shot and killed after he attacked another man with a decorative dagger at a New York City housing project.
The gunman remains hospitalized Saturday with a stab wound and hasn't been charged.
Police say the dispute began Friday night at the Queens complex after the shooter refused to give the victim crack cocaine. The victim grabbed the dagger off the wall of an apartment and chased the other man outside.
After getting stabbed, the gunman shot the 50-year-old victim. The dead man's name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
