HANOVER, Penn. (PIX11) — A photojournalist was reportedly hurt when he was inside a Pennsylvania home that the owners say is haunted by ghosts and other dark entities.
Homeowner DeAnna Simpson told WPMT that her family has lived in the Hanover home for seven years.
It wasn’t until they moved in that they found out it was a haunted house.
Simpson showed the reporter several recordings of ghosts she’s collected while living in the home.
One of the ghosts is described as a 7-foot-tall shadowy figure.
“I have some here that are protecting me, some women are here protecting me,” Simpson told WPMT. “But the majority are bad, dark forces, inhuman.”
She has audio of voices, children laughing and dogs barking that were not in the house.
There are also several ghostly photos as well as several photos from something that scratches people when they come inside.
Only a few minutes after a FOX 43 photojournalist entered the home for a story, he felt something strange.
The photographer allegedly felt burning and had a scratch on his arm.
Immediately Simpson asked him if he was okay.
“Did you get scratched?” Simpson asked.
According to Simpson, the photographer was scratched because they are telling the story about the haunted house.
The house will appear on the Travel Channel’s “The Dead Files” Saturday.
