NEW YORK (PIX11) — On Thursday’s Hot List, Andy reveals the inspiration behind Lana Del Rey’s ‘F****d my way to the top’ and a surprising album topping charts.

Gov. Cuomo and CBS have announced “The Late Show” will remain in New York City when Stephen Colbert takes over for David Letterman next year. Letterman’s historic Ed Sullivan theatre will undergo some very serious renovations before the switch. NY will make available up to $5 million to go to CBS to offset these costs.

Whitney Houston’s mom does not support Lifetime’s biopic on her late daughter. The biopic will be directed by Angela Bassett, and Deborah Cox will provide vocals on some of Houston’s hit tracks. Houston’s family has urged fans to “please let her rest.”

Weird Al’s album ‘Mandatory Fun’ tops charts for the first time in his career, spanning three decades. He has been releasing parody songs once a day for the past week, and each video has garnered hundreds of thousands of views. His promotion efforts clearly paid off.

Lana Del Rey openly admits to sleeping with “a lot of guys” in the music industry. However, it didn’t get her very far in her career. This comment was in response to stir about her song ‘F***d My Way Up to the Top’ in Del Rey’s second album ‘Ultra Violence.’
