Caught on camera: Necklace snatching duo target woman in the Bronx

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A pair of thieves ripped a necklace off a woman’s chest in the Bronx and were caught on camera running away from the scene of the crime, police said Monday.

It happened about 5 p.m. June 20in front 1985 Webster Ave., police said.

A man walked up to a woman, snatched a gold chain off her neck and fled, police said. A second man who acted in concert with the first fled south on Webster Avenue.

The pair was caught on surveillance camera, their faces clearly shown as they stride down the street. The first is described as a black male wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans; the other is described as a black male wearing a white tank top, sweatpants and a bucket hat.
